Architectural design of 5 residences on two plots of land(2023- 2022)

The two complexes comprise 5 independent residences that share pools, and enjoy majestic views to the Gulf of Messinia and the south Aegean. They are found on two different plots in Verga near Kalamata, and are part of a larger vacation complex consisting of five neighboring plots of land. Due to the very sloppy terrain, the layering of the building volumes and of the surrounding ground and terraces has been organized on several elevations that cater for all necessary functions. The design has incorporated bio-climatic principles and provides protection from the northern winds; also shading with a system of moving shutters for the larger openings at ground level, and rollers on the upper levels for openings oriented to the south and west.
